THE SUSTAINING FUND

While the main goal of this campaign is to pay for expenses associated with attending the Championship, we understand that we may not even qualify. That’s why the purpose of this fundraising is two-fold. Attend the Championship and continue succeeding in a financially sustainable fashion.

We do not know exactly what we will do with this money if we do not attend the Championship, which is where the Sustaining Fund comes in. We want you to be able to donate with the peace of mind of knowing where your money is going to go, so here’s the plan.

Money raised by this campaign will either be used to pay for the Championship or, should we not attend or we raise more than we need, it will be placed in the Sustaining Fund. This money will be dedicated to ensuring the team can continue operating at the level it has for the past several seasons.

The team will provide quarterly updates (you must consent to receive email updates) regarding the fund, until either the funds are exhausted or for two years, whichever comes first.

Some ideas on what we would likely spend this money on:

• Improvements to our build space (we really want a CNC)

• Event registration

• Investments in parts and materials
