Who are we?

We are FIRST Robotics Competition Team 1991 The Dragons! We are a 4-H club team based out of University High School of Science and Engineering in Hartford, CT. We are a diverse group of approximately 20 students and 5 mentors who are deeply passionate about all things robotics!

Some quick facts about our team:

  • This is our 19th season competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition

  • We are a 501(c)3 non-profit through the Connecticut 4-H Foundation

  • 100% of our students receive free lunch

  • We have an approximate 50/50 split between girls and boys on the team

  • Our students are on track to complete about 170 college credits this school year

  • We last attended the FIRST Championship in 2017 in St. Louis

  • We win an average of more than one award per season
